Vegetables / Seasoned Corn Butters Recipe
Corn on the cob is a great side dish for grilled foods. Whether
you grill or boil your corn, a seasoned butter can add a simple
gourmet flair. Seasoned butter is a pleasant surprise of flavors
complimenting your meal.
In Mexico "Elote" is served, boiled or grilled, dipped
in cream and sprinkled with chili powder. In America we have "Corn
On The Cob", boiled or grilled, slathered in butter and sprinkled
with salt and pepper. In Canada we are not sure what they have.
But we are fairly sure it is a Canadian version of boiled or grilled
corn. No matter, seasoned butter is a simple and tasty way to
serve corn with a little extra care.
In a small bowl mix together butter and dry rub. Add more for
a stronger flavor.
Serve soft with a basting brush.
Seasoned butter will harden if refrigerated and if covered and last as long as ordinary butter.
